Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before placing an order or using the website universalseal.in operated by Universal Packaging Solutions (“Universal Seal”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General

Universal Seal is a brand of Universal Packaging Solutions, a trading entity registered in India and engaged in the supply of industrial sealing products. These Terms govern your use of our website and any transactions with us. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Products and Pricing

  • All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable at the time of order confirmation is the price charged.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual product may vary slightly in appearance.
  • Availability of products is subject to stock at the time of order. In case of unavailability, we will notify you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

3. Orders and Acceptance

An order placed on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order. An order is accepted when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch confirmation. We are not liable for any losses arising from order rejection.

4. Payment

  • Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless a credit account has been agreed in writing.
  • We accept payment via online transfer (NEFT/RTGS/UPI), credit/debit cards, and other methods available at checkout.
  • All transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway partners.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by logistics partners, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect goods on receipt and report any damage within 48 hours. See our Shipping Info page for more details.

6. Order Cancellation Policy

We offer our customers the convenience of self-service order cancellation directly through the website, subject to the following terms and operational conditions:

  • Self-Service Cancellation Window: Customers may cancel an order free of charge directly from their account dashboard under My Orders > Order Details at any time before the order has been marked as Shipped (this includes orders in Pending, Confirmed, Processing, or Ready to Dispatch status).
  • Post-Shipment Restriction: Once an order has reached the Shipped, Out for Delivery, or Delivered status, the package has been handed over to third-party logistics carriers and online self-service cancellation is strictly disabled. Such orders cannot be cancelled in transit and must be handled under our Return & Refund Policy after physical delivery.
  • Immediate Effect: Upon submitting a valid cancellation request, the order is immediately moved to Cancelled status, warehouse processing is halted, and a confirmation record is added to your account audit timeline.
  • Prepaid Order Refunds: If you paid online via UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, or Netbanking (including orders that received an Automatic Prepaid Order Discount), a 100% refund of the net amount paid will be initiated to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of cancellation.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: If a COD order is cancelled prior to shipment, the order is cancelled with zero charge and no financial transaction takes place.
  • Administrative Discretion: Universal Seal reserves the right to cancel an order at any stage prior to delivery due to inventory unavailability, unserviceable pin codes, pricing inaccuracies, or logistical constraints, in which case full refunds are promptly issued.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds after product delivery are governed by our comprehensive Return & Refund Policy. Returns for defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Custom-fabricated and special-order products are non-returnable once correctly manufactured.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Universal Seal or its content suppliers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Universal Seal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
